These are from the 4th, which means I'm either seven months behind or five months ahead.  Land of the free, home of the brave, our hockey team beat Russia, America, God shed His grace on thee.  These pictures are from the convent where we go every July for our family reunion since Aunt Mickey (Sister Mary-Ann) can't leave very often, or I suppose doesn't want to leave very often either.  There is plenty of discovery & invention when there is no WiFi & barely any satellite connection.  My grampa taught us the best way to make Nachos, in a step-by-step manner.  Seasoning the meat, homemade Guac, fresh tomatoes & fresh salsa - that's all important - but the KEY, the real key to making good Nachos is to take the plate out of the microwave & arrange everything on that plate.  Then wash the plate later.

This past summer neither my sister or mom went and my dad ended up spending an uncanny amount of time washing and cooking and cleaning.  For the life of me, I can't remember ever seeing him like that.  haha Dads, am I right?

We also set off fireworks every year at the convent for the Fourth & I don't know if that's legal but I doubt very many people have made it to this sentence anyways. haha The frame of my brother lighting the first one came out upside down & the PCs at school have no editing capabilities whatsoever.  But it looks hip so I don't mind leaving it.

Happy fourth, everybody!
